Finally, FOWA 2007 was finished. The first thing I've learned is attending 2 of full-day seminar burns you life energy. The second one is carrying 2.2kg iBook (with other gears) is painful, I'm considering of iPhone now.
(FYI, 85% of laptops in FOWA have the shining apple logo on them, even Kevin Rose just asking in London-live Diggnation: "Is this MacWorld?")
For a poor, home-away, self-funded student as me, FOWA is expensive. I spent around 200 pounds for entrance fee and transporation (train from Sheffield + Underground 7-day pass). I can live for a month by this amount of money!!! Anyway, I think it's worth.
Beyond taking photo with Web 2.0 celebs, I listened to their behind-the-scene of success: how to be a good start-up, how to run the community, how to scale-up when your site rapidly grows and so on. If you have analysis instinct in your blood, you can extract the 2008-2009 web trends from these sessions as well.
