Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger comes with built-in simple CD burner in Finder. Although it lacks of many advanced features, it is enough for data CD writing, which we have done it most.
My problem emerges when I need to write over-sized file (~702 MB) and this handy Finder burner doesn’t allow me to do that. The solution is easy, finding a better one.
Only full-features CD burner I know is Toast Titanium (which comes along with almost every Mac sold in Thailand, pirately). I don’t want to pay for it and also don’t want to be illegal.
After googling around, I met this handy little site, Open Source Mac. For CD Burner, It recommends the name of software I’ve never heard, Burn.
For those geeks who are reading this entry, the interface is simple and no guide needed. Work like a charm.
P.S. Leopard is coming soon. I wonder how many Blognone readers who will pirately grab it via Torrent?
P.S. 2 For your information, my Tiger is genuine.
