Athlon "Time Two"

I see Athlon 64 X2 demo today at KU. It means that you have 2 machines in one. Heavy process can be run on one processor and another one is still free for another jobs. Your system doesn't lag even if one processor is 100% utilized.

The point is AMD Thailand people call it "Athlon Time Two" not "Athlon Ex Two". Quite strange and I don't think she pronouces it correctly.

ไม่ลองหยิบมาเล่นที่้บ้านดูล่ะ :P

อยากได้จัง แต่ไม่รู้ว่าได้มาจะเอามาทำอะไร

I think they called it "Athlon Times Two" with intention. The letter X in the processor name probably represents multiplication symbol (×). Therefore, it can be pronounced as "times". It did sound quite strange, though. :)

I can't find any pronunciation document. -_-''
