ไม่เคยเรียน MBA และเฉยๆ กับ MBA (ไม่ได้แอนตี้อะไร ตัวทฤษฎีเองหลายอย่างมีประโยชน์และพิสูจน์ได้) แต่ชีวิตนี้ก็เจอคนแอนตี้ MBA มาไม่น้อย เหตุผลของฝ่ายแอนตี้ MBA ส่วนมากมักจะเป็น "คนจบ MBA จะเอาทฤษฎีที่เรียนมาใช้โดยไม่สนใจบริบท (และเฟลกลับไป)"

โดยส่วนตัวคิดว่าเป็นเหตุผลที่น่ารับฟัง และคนเรียน MBA มีปัญหาอันมีเหตุมาจาก:

1. เรียนเพราะไม่รู้จะเรียนอะไร
2. รีบเรียนเร็วเกินไป โดยยังไม่มีประสบการณ์ในการทำงานจริงมากนัก (1-2 ปีไม่พอหรอกนะ)

ที่เขียนมาตั้งยาวก็เพราะไปอ่านบทสัมภาษณ์ Marc Andreessen ผู้ก่อตั้ง Netscape ฮีโร่อันดับหนึ่งในดวงใจ ซึ่งอธิบายปัญหาของ Dot Com Bubble ในปี 2001 ว่าเกิดจาก "พวก MBA"

There was a point in the late ’90s where all the graduating M.B.A.’s wanted to start companies in Silicon Valley, and for the most part they were not actually qualified to do it. They brought the whole sideshow of the hype and parties and all that crap. M.B.A. graduating classes are actually a reliable contrary indicator: if they all want to go into investment banking, there’s going to be a financial crisis. If they want to go into tech, that means a bubble is forming.

จะเห็นด้วยหรือไม่ก็ไปถกกับ Andreessen กันเอง แต่ถือเป็น insight ที่น่าสนใจจากคนวงใน (จะมองว่า bubble เริ่มจาก Netscape IPO ก็ไม่ผิดอะไร)
