MIT Technology Review has an article about Korean researchers who run an experiment on Twitter interconnection.
The original idea behind this experiment is six degrees of separation. The hypothesis is "more than six" degrees since most of relationships between Twitterers are one-way (you follow me, I don't follow you).
But the actual result is surprising. Twitter people are separated by only 4.12 degrees.
