January 2010 is the month of heat debate between iPhone and Android camps, again. When Google unveiled the Nexus One, it is unavoidable to have it compared with the iPhone.
I enjoy reading these reviews & comparisons, the big picture is: "Nexus is not game changing but very good contender", but the one that is worth mentioning is TechCrunch: The Switch From iPhone To Android, And Why Your First Impression Is Wrong.
As Android user, I felt exactly the same as author: Android needs time to understand. Once you know it, it can do all communication jobs perfectly. For the other side of the coin, you might read No, Your First Impression Isn’t Wrong: Android ISN’T As Nice As The iPhone by Danny Sullivan from Search Engine Land. I'm a fan of Danny writing too.
However, the best comment on this debate is from Michael Arrington, TechCrucnh owner, in comment box of the first article:
that back button is key. navigation is actually much easier on the android.
Can't agree more with this. Long live physical back button!
P.S. I addressed this issue too in my HTC Magic review at Blognone (in Thai)
